I have compiled dozens of resources in my time in business. This includes technology solutions, powerful educational tools, and more. Sign up below to receive a curated set of resources free in your email every Thursday.
In my work, I have had the chance to try our a number of different platforms and resources. This page is a repository of resources that I recommend for you to try out.
I have been with DreamHost since 2011. This site you are looking at is through DreamHost, as is my email, my domains, and most of my web activities (other than what’s on Kartra).
You can spend under $200 a year and get unlimited hosting, WordPress installs, email management, and more. Click here for details.
Kartra is a full service solution for coaches, course creators, and all kinds of other businesses.
I started using Kartra because of the affiliate program giving me an easy way to create partnership programs to promote my programs. Then I found that they do everything else too. Landing pages. Web sites. Email marketing. Robust automations.
A CRM is supposed to make your life easier. If you have to spend hours cutting and pasting contact info, email summaries, and other data into your CRM, then is your life actually easier?
Salesflare is made by salespeople for salespeople. It integrates with your email system and social media platforms to populate contact information and other data for your contacts automatically, actually making your life easier.
If you follow my social media, you may see those posts that say I’m going live and you need to give StreamYard permission for me to see your comments. StreamYard has been a game changer for me. With this low cost, easy to use platform, I can live stream to multiple platforms, do live lower thirds, use greenscreens, and more.
Shutterstock is one of the best sources online for stock photos and stock videos. I use it for the stock photos in my blogs, promotional materials, and occasionally in videos.
Mailchimp is a great email system to get started with. You can send up to 12,000 emails a month to an audience of up to 2,000 for free. They have some moderate automations and web sites. If you need a fairly basic platform, then Mailchimp will serve you well.
It was everything I needed for my first few years, and I recommend them as your first email marketing service.
As The Guy Who Knows A Guy, I’m all about partnerships. Here are some of the great partners I work with.
Lois Koffi teaches sales strategies and email list building strategies. I worked with her to learn to build my own email list from 300 to nearly 1,000.
